Proverbs 8 32 “Now then, my children, listen to me; blessed are those who keep my ways. 33 Listen to my instruction and be wise; do not disregard it.
Solomon was writing as if wisdom was speaking, but I think that he was really trying to give a message to his own children and also probably his people. Because the Lord had given him so much peace and prosperity, he wanted his children to also enjoy this for all of their lives. He wants his people to be blessed beyond his reign. This shows a good, unselfish heart.
