How God's heart must have been broken to see His people actually fighting and making war on each other. The people also hurt very badly for Benjamin's fate. God also made the rest of Israel pay during the first two days of battle. Oh that we would listen to the Lord and keep His word fully so that we wouldn't have to be disciplined like this!
