I wonder what Moses must have thought as he was able to see the promised land. It must have looked rich and inviting. I'm sure that he was both relieved to be freed from his responsibilities with the people, but also would have felt the longing to go with them. He was 120 years old and that was the limit that God had placed on man earlier. I wonder if that also had something to do with it. In any case he was a great servant of the Lord. He had such a close relationship with God. I envy that.
