I'm amazed at the life that Moses led...and the way he prepared Joshua to take his place. It takes a man of God to do what GOD wants, and not listen to the crowd!
I too am in awe of Moses. Even though he sometimes did the wrong thing, he still strove to serve God. Even knowing he would not enter the Promised Land, Moses continued to carry out his duties as the Lord told him. He provided guidance to the Israelites by passing on the words of the Lord to them. It must have been a strange thing to Moses to declare the boundaries of all the lands, yet know he would never see them. At least as we tell others of our Promised Land, we can be assured that we too will be within its borders. By His Grace.
