Thoughts for today?

  1. Psalms 8
    3 When I consider your heavens,
    the work of your fingers,
    the moon and the stars,
    which you have set in place,
    4 what is mankind that you are mindful of them,
    human beings that you care for them?[c]

    5 You have made them[d] a little lower than the angels[e]
    and crowned them[f] with glory and honor.

    We are so incredibly small compared to the creation. I constantly hear that from scientists who don't believe in God. It's so important to them to point out that we are insignificant in this universe, because we must have all happened by chance to their understanding. But I see the grandness of the heavens as God trying to let us understand how completely awesome that He is. We are humbled by the creation.

  2. Psalms 19
    1 The heavens declare the glory of God;
    the skies proclaim the work of his hands.
    2 Day after day they pour forth speech;
    night after night they reveal knowledge.
    3 They have no speech, they use no words;
    no sound is heard from them.
    4 Yet their voice[b] goes out into all the earth,
    their words to the ends of the world.

    God shows all of us how great He is, if we are only open to listening to Him!
