Many, many unusual events happened in these people’s lives that were undoubtedly never recorded. It’s interesting that the event with Tamar and her son Perez was recorded here. Think of how important this is since Christ was to come through this line, yet Moses who wrote this lived hundreds of years before Christ. There seems to be so many instances that we can see of how the Lord moves events (and what’s recorded) through history.
