  1. This scripture is loaded with amazing things.
First, It's amazing when Aaron sinned and blamed the people and came up with the worst excuse in history, "I threw the gold into the fire and out came this calf!" Aren't excuses when we do wrong things always just about this lame?
I love the back and forth as God and Moses argue who actually brought these people out of Egypt. Nobody seemed to want credit. There is something to understand here about God and the relationship that He desires with those He loves. One thing is for sure though and that is that God Loves Moses! It comes across to me that the whole reason that the people were spared was, because of the great love that God had for Moses. I wish for that relationship :)
I also love how God put his stamp of acceptance on Moses by making his face to glow from being in His presence and seeing his glory. So many references to the New Testament.
God is amazing and really wants us to love Him and be in the kind of relationship that He and Moses had.
