in chapter 11:5-7 God came down to view the tower then commented "if as one people speaking the same language they have begun to do this, THEN NOTHING THEY PLAN TO DO WILL BE IMPOSSIBLE FOR THEM." my 1st reaction - was man capable of doing so much more than God really wanted them to do at that time; were they some sort of 'super-humans'? why did he want to stop their progress? 'nothing they plan to do will be impossible' leads me to believe they had greater capabilities than we understand. what's someone else's thoughts?
