I wonder how the magicians could make frogs come up, but when it came to gnats they just couldn't do it and said this is the finger of God! Gnats must be lots harder than frogs, blood and snakes. Need to believe earlier than later! Reminds me of the parable of the rich man and Lazarus when Jesus said that the rich man's relatives wouldn't even believe if someone raised from the dead. That line is fraught with meaning.
